Abstract:Wireless power transfer (WPT) technology enables the separation of primary and secondary side structures, possessing inherent advantages in high-insulation application scenarios. In this webinar, we will present the design of two types of high-insulation transformers harnessing the potential of WPT technology. Firstly, we will introduce a high-efficiency medium-frequency split-planar transformer (MFSPT) designed specifically for medium-voltage modular converters (MMC). High electrical insulation is achieved with high efficiency, high power density, as well as excellent heat dissipation performance at the same time. Furthermore, we will introduce a high-frequency, high step-up, and high-insulation transformer operating in the MHz frequency range. This transformer serves as a critical component in high-voltage power supplies and is widely applied across diverse domains.
