Abstract: This webinar is presented in Chinese. Power electronics has been widely used in renewable power generation systems, which feature low short-circuit ratios - SCR. Grid-following - GFL and grid-forming - GFM control techniques are widely used in such applications, while an appropriate ratio of the GFL and GFM inverters is unclear but of interest. This talk will discuss the decoupling mechanism to maintain the overall dynamics of power converters for renewable energy integration. Moreover, the grid strength enhancement principle based on the critical SCR of power converters and equipment and the generalized SCR of the grid will be presented. The focus will be put on the estimation of the ratio of GFL and GFM converters in renewable power generation systems with a low SCR. At the end of this talk, we will look at the source-grid coordinated control schemes to further enhance the grid strength.
